A Crisis Communication Training Series for AEJM Members
Jewish museums and organisations are facing increasingly complex communication challenges in today’s public and digital environments. These include questions such as how to respond to hate speech and antisemitic comments online, when to speak out in a polarised public debate – and when restraint may be necessary – as well as how to help audiences navigate disinformation and an increasingly fragmented digital landscape.
To address these questions, AEJM is launching a new online training series developed in response to communication challenges identified by AEJM members in a survey conducted between October 2025 and February 2026.
The program is open to communications professionals, museum managers, educators and all colleagues who encounter these challenges in their daily work. Through expert input, peer exchange and practical exercises, participants will work on real-life cases from the museum sector and develop communication tools, frameworks and response strategies that can be adapted to their own institutions.
