Funding for Jewish heritage professionals to attend a conference or participate in a seminar or specialist training course

The Rothschild Foundation Hanadiv Europe provides funding for Jewish heritage professionals to attend conferences, seminars, and specialist training courses.

Eligible applicants include archivists, librarians, conservators, curators, educators, catalogers, and others who work professionally in a museum, archive, library, or other heritage organization with a significant European Jewish collection.

The Rothschild Foundation provides up to £1,000 to cover conference, seminar, or course fees, as well as travel and accommodation costs. The Foundation also provides language grants of up to £2,000 to help heritage professionals improve their working knowledge of Hebrew or other relevant Jewish languages (e.g., Yiddish or Judeo-Spanish).

Applications can be submitted by individuals, and reimbursement will be made directly to their organization. You will need to upload evidence of expenditure to your online account, e.g., invoices and receipts.

Applications are accepted throughout the year, and decisions are made within four weeks.
