The International Committee of Memorial Museums in Remembrance of the Victims of Public Crimes (ICMEMO)
Every three years, ICOMʼs General Conference gathers the international museum community around a theme defined by museum professionals. More than 3,000 experts and museum professionals meet for a whole week to exchange on museum-related topics, encompassing scientific discussions with ICOMʼs International Committees and conversations on current pressing issues in the museum and heritage sphere.
This year, ICOMʼs 24th General Conference will take place in Milan, Italy, from July 3-9, 2016. The theme of the ICOM Milano 2016 General Conference is “Museums and Cultural Landscapes.”
ICMEMO, The International Committee of Memorial Museums in Remembrance of the Victims of Public Crimes invites you to participate in its 2016 Conference within the context of ICOM Milan 2016 General Conference to explore the relationship between museums and memorials and cultural landscapes.
