On Wednesday 23 September – 3 PM (CET) AEJM will present a ZOOM workshop on Online Programming, Education and Public Engagement by Łucja Koch and Małgorzata Zając of POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews.
This workshop is intended for people who run or intend to run an online cultural or educational program.
At the time when our museums stayed closed, we were adopting a range of strategies: we were improving the visibility of our museum’s digital resources, holding online conferences, workshops, concerts, training sessions and even online social campaigns.
What has this experience taught us? What are our discoveries? Which of the new approaches do we want to make permanent? What are the biggest challenges? What do we need to work on?
During this workshop, we will look at our experience in creating an online cultural and educational offer, discuss and formulate recommendations for further actions.
If you are interested in attending this workshop make sure you complete a small survey below before registering. It will only take 5 minutes! Link to the survey.
You can register for the workshop here.
Deadline for registration and submitting the survey is September 9. You will receive the meeting ID and password for the ZOOM meeting after the registration deadline.
The objectives of the workshop will be:
1) Collecting good and inspiring practices within Jewish museums regarding online programming and education projects during the pandemic (for this part we are considering inviting few people to shortly (2 minutes each) present few interesting on-line projects)
2) Collecting and discussing what we’ve learned during this period and what we would like to keep for the months to come
3) Discussing what kind of challenges do we face while developing online offer
4) Formulating practical recommendations
