Four years ago, the Center of Jewish Cultural Heritage Synagogue Maribor started collaborating in the Cultural Diary project. This project was developed by the Narodni dom public institution, one of the mayor Maribor cultural institutions. The aim of the project is to encourage and support cultural education of primary school children (aging from eight to 10 years). In the project, different Maribor cultural institutions and organizations collaborate: cultural houses, libraries, theaters, NGOs, museums, and the City Archive, offer guided tours or presentations and creative workshops.
Several programmes are available for different age groups, whereat individual programme is always implemented in cooperation of two pair-institutions. This year, the pair institution of our Center is the Maribor City Library.
