The AEJM congratulates POLIN – Museum of the History of Polish Jews on winning the European Museum of the Year Award.
49 museums from 24 countries were nominated for the prestigious title, awarded annually “to a museum which contributes most directly to attracting audiences and satisfying its visitors with unique atmosphere, imaginative interpretation and presentation, a creative approach to education and social responsibility.”
Professor Dariusz Stola, Director of the museum, received the EMYA trophy in a ceremony held in San Sebastian, Spain, on April 9th, 2016.
