The Advisory Visits Grant Programme (AVGP) is developed to assist AEJM members in need of expert advise and training, by offering them both professional and financial support for expert advice and in house-training. All AEJM member institutions can apply, and the 2016 deadlines for for submitting applications are 1 April and 1 September.
The AVGP offers small grants to support member museums in need of consultancy. By this means, the AEJM is able to provide member institutions with expert advice and in house-training through the support of visits by museum experts to our grantees. It encourages the exchange of information, ideas and knowledge between European Jewish museums, provides training and learning opportunities and promotes mutual support and cooperation in a wide range of areas.
Applications are welcome in the following three categories:
1. Collection Management
2. Museum Education
3. Permanent Displays
In 2016 deadlines for submitting applications are 1 April and 1 September.
The first round of applications is now closed. The second round will open in June 2016.
Applications must be in line with all eligibility criteria.
Find out more about how to apply for curatorial projects and educational projects.
