Volunteering Project at Auschwitz Jewish Center 2026, Oświęcim

The Auschwitz Jewish Center in Oświęcim is seeking a motivated young volunteer to join a European Solidarity Corps project running from Spring to Autumn 2026. The project focuses on non-formal education, preservation of Jewish cultural heritage, and intercultural engagement within the local community.

The volunteer will support museum education activities, including workshops and guided tours at the Jewish Museum Oshpitzin, assist in preservation work at the Jewish cemetery, and contribute to educational materials promoting Jewish history and culture. Additional tasks include helping with events for local residents, supporting daily activities at Café Bergson, and participating in digital content creation and sustainability initiatives.

The project offers full financial support, including travel, accommodation, food, and pocket money, as well as insurance, mentoring, and language support. Participants gain valuable professional experience, intercultural skills, and a Youthpass certificate documenting their learning outcomes.
