Working in Polarized Environments: A Transatlantic Exchange

International Talking Circle with the Council of American Jewish Museums and the Association of European Jewish Museums

We invite AEJM and CAJM members to join this timely and vital conversation on May 28, 06:00 P.M./CET

Political polarization and increasingly heated public discourse pose growing challenges for Jewish museums around the world. These dynamics not only complicate our work but also render it more politically charged.

Building on the meaningful conversations held over the past two years with our colleagues from the Council of American Jewish Museums (CAJM)—particularly in the wake of the events of October 7—we will continue to deepen our transatlantic dialogue by focusing on how to navigate polarized environments.

As conflicts and crises escalate, must our approach evolve? How can Jewish museums respond to these difficult circumstances while safeguarding our institutions and supporting our communities?

To register, please send an email to registration@aejm.org by May 27 at 18:00 CEST.
