In 2009, the property of the former Labour and Concentration Camp in Sered’ was transferred to the Museum of Jewish Culture by the Ministry of Defence, and declared a National Cultural Monument. Subsequently, the plans were announced to build a new Holocaust Museum. On the 26th of January 2016, the new Holocaust Museum in Sered’ was opened to the public.
