About Hotel Nes
Hotel Nes is situated in the historic centre of Amsterdam, an area of the city that was placed on the Unesco World Heritage list in 2010. Hotel Nes dates back to 1984 but the building itself dates back to the 17th century. The building used to be a mansion, belonging to a wealthy Amsterdam family. Since 1931 the building was used as a pension. During the 2nd World War the pension was located in the Jewish Quarter. On December 16th, 1957 the first hotel opened its doors; Hotel Bego. April 1st, 1969 Hotel Warner took over. Hotel Nes is now a very popular 3 star hotel catering to the needs of tourists and business travellers. The rooms have been renovated in the past year.
